You are worth so much more than a fucking discount!!!

 

How many times have you been asked to reduce your price?

The reality is, it’s never about price. It’s about value, relevance and reputation.

We’ve all been there…

Whether the person on the other end of the phone or conversation is asking for a discount… or

You feel so shit about charging people and are afraid of telling them your actual price so YOU discount them before they even think about asking, or not.

Either way, there is an issue here….

If people are asking for a discount or for you to lower your prices, then there is a branding and positioning issue that is preventing them from seeing the actual value that you provide.

Sure you may provide tons of value, but if you have cheap branding, or mismatched visual marketing, your message is all over the shop and you are not conveying the VALUE they will get, then you will have a hard time getting the money you want.

They just subconsciously can’t see past the branding issue (even though they don’t call it that or know that is what it actually is – it’s definitely the issue).

On the other side of the coin, if YOU are not crystal clear on your branding or have clarity around what it actually is that you do, who you do it for or why you even do it… then YOU will have trouble asking for the money and you end up discounting all over the place.

In both situations, you have a big problem that needs to be fixed.
