A logo is just a mark – A brand is your STORY!

 

When I tell people that I am a branding strategist and designer, they look at me and go “wow, that’s cool…. what do you do?”
Well, I work with business people to help them create a truly authentic BRAND.
Then, those same people say “oh cool, I have a logo!”
Ummm … okay.
 
A logo is just a mark.
A brand is your STORY!
 
The brand is the reason your logo has any meaning at all. It’s the message,value, feeling, and PERSONALITY of your company that your logo will come to represent.
 
What I do specifically – what my SUPERPOWER is – is connect WHO YOU ARE with your business. I bridge that gap so your business and YOU are both your brand.
One in the same.
 
I’m not saying you gotta go change your business name or anything like that (unless you gotta go do that of course).
 
What I am saying is that YOUR personality, YOUR values, YOUR message, the feelings that YOU energetically send out are an integral part of your brand.
 
You can’t have one without the other. You need to meld and connect both.
 
THIS is the secret sauce that kick ass brands, that you love, have.
 
It’s the energy of the thing. The energy that you bring to the business. And it’s not good enough to just have a business that you work in. It may work for a while, but ultimately there will be a disconnect and people will sense it.
 
I”ve said it before and I’ll say it again…. you need to be truly authentically YOU in and around your business to be able to magnetise your dream clients to you.
Anything less and you’re gonna get those lesser folks attracted to the lesser version of you. You won’t vibe, it won’t be fun, IT WILL BE WORK.
 
What we want is FUN FUN FUN!
If you’re doing what you fucking LOVE to do, then it should be FUN ALL THE TIME. period.
 
so…. NO. Your logo is NOT your brand.
Get your STORY straight first and the logo will follow.
